Job Summary:
Servers are responsible for providing exceptional guest service by greeting & seating guests, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities: 
Your role as Server will include, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities:
1. Guest Service & Sales:

• Greet guests warmly and provide excellent service throughout their dining experience
• Guide guests through the menu, making recommendations and upselling food, beverages, and specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into Toast POS promptly
• Deliver food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper presentations and quality
• Run drinks from the bar to guests in a timely manner
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns

2. Seating & Table Management:

• Assist with greeting and seating guests upon arrival, when host is not present
• Manage table assignments to ensure even distribution and smooth flow.
• Communicate with the kitchen and bar to coordinate service timing
• Monitor table turnover and assist in resetting tables for incoming guests

3. Collaboration with Management & Team:

• Work closely with management to align service and restaurant goals.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and service quality
• Communicate guest feedback, menu concerns, and operational challenges to management.

4. Compliance and Safety:

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Ensure responsible alcohol service, checking IDs, and monitoring guest consumption
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tables, and common areas

5. Certifications/Trainings:

• California Food Handler’s Certification
• Responsible Beverage Service Certification
• Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
