Server (Part-Time, Night Shift)
Location: Dream Hollywood, 6417 Selma Ave, Hollywood, CA 90028 Department: Food & Beverage Reports To: F&B Manager / General Manager Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt Schedule: Night shifts, 4:00 PM – Close Compensation: $25.00/hour plus tips (tip pool)
About the RoleDream Hollywood is seeking a personable, service-driven Server to join our Food & Beverage team for evening shifts. You'll deliver attentive, high-energy service in a fast-paced, upscale environment that reflects Dream Hollywood's vibrant Hollywood scene.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and serve guests in a warm, professional, and timely manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar
- Maintain full knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation, and daily specials
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience, addressing concerns promptly
- Process payments accurately using the POS system (currently Micros, transitioning to Toast)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Participate in the tip pool in accordance with house policy
- Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and management staff to ensure smooth service
- Prior serving experience in a restaurant, bar, or hotel setting preferred
- California Food Handler Card required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- 4 Shift: 4:00 PM – Close
- Pay: $25.00/hour plus tips (tip pool)
- Please note: employee parking is not provided
