Responsibilities:
* Arrive to work at your scheduled time in a clean & complete uniform (company provided shirt, pants with belt, and complete uniform.
* Greet customers at the front door with a "Welcome to All American Diner" and then seat each guest comfortably in a clean booth.
* Taking customers' food and drink orders with our handheld POS devices.
* Collaborating with the kitchen and management staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
* Memorizing the menu and recommend drinks, appetizers, meals, & deserts.
* Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
* Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
* Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
* Learn and comply with the All American Diner "10 Star Steps of Service" with each guest or potential customer.
* Perform all prepping and cleaning duties assigned by the management team so that the following shift is fully stocked for the start of their shift.
Qualifications:
* Friendly customer service skills
* Ability to positively interact and display teamwork with entire diner staff.
* Previous restaurant is not required, only a positive attitude and commitment to learning company policies. xawqmyg
