Deliz Italian is seeking an experienced, polished Server to join our dining room team. We are looking for someone who brings warmth, confidence, urgency, and genuine hospitality to every table—someone who understands that exceptional service means reading the room, knowing the details, and making each guest feel personally cared for.

Our ideal candidate has experience in a polished steakhouse or fine-dining environment and a strong command of handmade pastas, our steak program, wine, cocktails, and spirits. They can make thoughtful recommendations and pairings based on a guest’s preferences, budget, and occasion, confidently guiding the experience from the first greeting through dessert and farewell.

• Deliver elevated, personable, detail-driven service in a high-volume Italian steakhouse environment.

• Possess thorough knowledge of handmade pastas, ingredients, preparations, allergens, modifications, daily features, and proper steak temperatures.

• Speak confidently about Deliz’s signature steak cuts—their character, preparation, temperature, and ideal accompaniments.

• Make informed wine-pairing recommendations for steaks, pastas, seafood, and the full menu.

• Confidently sell and speak to cocktails, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic offerings.

• Make beverage recommendations that feel natural, informed, and tailored—not scripted.

• Maintain strong awareness of reservations, celebrations, special requests, and guest preferences.

• Execute service with urgency, clean communication, precise coursing, and polished table maintenance.

• Work closely with hosts, support staff, bartenders, managers, kitchen teams, and fellow servers to create a seamless guest experience.

• Handle payments accurately and take ownership of guest concerns with professionalism and care.

• Uphold Deliz standards for appearance, punctuality, side work, cleanliness, food safety, and teamwork.

• 3–4 years of serving experience required in an upscale steakhouse, Italian restaurant, or high-volume restaurant environment; fine-dining experience strongly preferred.

• Strong working knowledge of steak cuts, proper temperatures, wine, food-and-wine pairing, classic and contemporary cocktails, and spirits.

• A natural salesperson who understands how to increase check average through meaningful, guest-focused recommendations.

• Excellent menu knowledge, memory, communication, and attention to detail.

• A warm, confident, polished presence with a true hospitality mindset.

• Ability to stay composed and organized in a fast-paced dining room.

• Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Valid BASSET and Food Handler certifications preferred; willingness to complete required certifications before starting.
