Chefs John & Karen Shields’ neighborhood destination, The Loyalist, is seeking an experienced and hospitality-focused server for 2-4 shifts a week. Responsibilities including owning the guest experience, extensive food and beverage menu knowledge, and most importantly making our 200+ guests a night feel welcomed! We're proud to work in a thriving, neighborhood restaurant that also attracts a great industry crowd.

This position requires above-average wine knowledge along with craft spirits and beers. 

The Loyalist, located in the West Loop, features a French-focused a la carte menu that showcases locally grown ingredients from our partner farms. We seek candidates with fine dining experience, a passion for knowledge and growth, and a genuine interest in the art of hospitality. 
The Loyalist is a pooled house where teamwork is key. Full time employees are eligible for company-subsidized health care after 30 days of employment, as well as additional insurance options, 401k, and daily family meals.
All offers of employment are conditioned upon the candidate providing proof that they are fully-vaccinated (i.e. two weeks after the second shot for a 2-dose vaccine such as Pfizer or Moderna, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine such as Johnson & Johnson).
