Part-Time, Non-Exempt | $11.35/hour + tips

Sunken Harbor Club is looking for an experienced Server to join our team.

SHC is a busy, cocktail-driven room with a lot of personality. The drinks are serious, but the hospitality should never feel overly formal. We’re looking for someone who can be knowledgeable without sounding scripted, move quickly without making guests feel rushed, and bring genuine energy to the room.

You should enjoy talking about food and drinks, be comfortable in a high-volume environment, and genuinely like working as part of a close-knit service team.

The schedule

• Approximately 3 shifts per week
• Part-time, 29 hours or fewer per week
• Opportunity for additional shifts in the future

What we’re looking for

• 2–3 years of serving experience
• Experience in a high-volume, cocktail-focused, or hospitality-driven environment strongly preferred
• Warm, engaging, confident guest service
• Strong food and beverage knowledge and an interest in learning our cocktail program
• Excellent communication and organization
• Ability to stay calm, sharp, and attentive during a busy service
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong teamwork

What you’ll do

• Welcome guests and guide them through the SHC experience
• Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of our cocktails, food, and other beverage offerings
• Make thoughtful recommendations based on guest preferences
• Accurately enter orders and communicate with bartenders, the kitchen, and the rest of the service team
• Maintain awareness of your tables and anticipate guest needs
• Execute consistent steps of service while keeping the experience warm and natural
• Complete opening, closing, sidework, cleanliness, and sanitation responsibilities
• Jump in wherever needed to keep the room moving

Physical requirements

With or without reasonable accommodation, this position requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent use of stairs, working in a fast-paced restaurant and bar environment, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
