Server Assistants

Position Summary

The Server Assistant supports servers and management by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining room. This position helps ensure tables are cleaned and reset promptly, guests receive timely assistance, and servers can focus on providing excellent customer service.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Clear dishes, glasses, silverware, and trays from tables.

Clean and sanitize tables and booths between guests.

Reset tables with clean silverware, napkins, and condiments.

Assist servers with delivering food and beverages when needed.

Refill guest beverages when requested and appropriate.

Maintain cleanliness of dining room floors and walkways.

Keep server stations stocked and organized.

Assist with cleaning and maintaining restrooms.

Remove trash and maintain trash stations.

Assist with stocking cups, plates, silverware, and supplies.

Respond promptly to guest requests.

Communicate with servers and management about guest needs.

Complete assigned side work and cleaning duties.

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Afternoon Shift Responsibilities

Maintain dining room cleanliness during afternoon and dinner rushes.

Quickly clear and reset tables to keep seating available.

Support servers during high-volume periods.

Keep floors clean and free of spills.

Restock supplies throughout the shift.

Complete assigned afternoon closing duties when applicable.

Weekend Responsibilities

Be prepared for increased customer volume and faster table turnover.

Stay productive and attentive during busy periods.

Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff.

Help maintain clean and organized dining areas.

Prioritize guest needs and communicate effectively with the team.
