Server Assistant

Amá, Chef Frankie Ramirez’s live fire Mexican kitchen, is looking to build our FOH team! 

The server assistant helps maintain service standards throughout the course of the evening. You will coordinate with all sections throughout the restaurant to attentively support the pace of the dining room and cleanliness of the restaurant. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Running Food and Explaining Dishes, Clearing Tables, Restocking Silverware and Glassware, and generally assisting with service. 

Top Candidates:

• Must be able to communicate effectively and respectfully with guests and colleagues.
• Must be able to multitask, take direction from the team, and help maintain an organized dining room.
• Should be passionate about food and beverage as well as furthering their education in the restaurant industry. Knowledge of Mexican cuisine is a plus.
• Must be able to adapt to different situations and tasks--this is a multi-faceted position and requires not only flexibility but attention to detail. 
• Excellent dining room operations and knowledge, including steps of service
• Must have Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday availability
