About Somssi:
Somssi is a restaurant in Greenwich Village, rooted in a pan-Asian pantry and opening in June 2026. The debut concept from Ahris Kim of NA:EUN Hospitality – the team behind Atoboy, Atomix, and NARO – the name “Somssi” (솜씨) reflects a sense of craft: skill shaped through time, instinct, and experience.
Developed in partnership with NA:EUN Hospitality, Somssi offers an approachable, neobistro-style menu of shareable plates, drawing from Asian and European ingredients, techniques, and immigrant nostalgia. The experience is complemented by a thoughtful beverage program, featuring a well-traveled wine list, sake, and playful “little beverages.”
Designed as a place of gathering, Somssi is warm, lively, and generous—where hospitality is rooted in genuine care, and both guests and team members feel a sense of belonging.
We’re looking for team members who are curious, committed to learning, and grounded in genuine hospitality—those who take pride in their craft and contribute to a collaborative, thoughtful team environment.
