About the Role
We are seeking a Server Assistant to join our Front of House (FOH) team to support smooth service operations and an exceptional guest experience. This role requires strong teamwork, communication, and a commitment to maintaining Cuerno’s standards of excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a clean and organized dining area throughout service.
- Set tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, and dishes.
- Clear plates and reset tables for the next guests.
- Keep service stations clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Maintain effective communication with all team members throughout service.
- Assist the Server team with any additional tasks as needed.
- Maintain health and safety regulations in all kitchen and dining areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years previous experience as a Server Assistant, Busser, or similar restaurant role.
- Prior Fine Dining and Mexican Restaurant experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of restaurant etiquette and sequence of service.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including allergy protocols.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility in work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Ability to move and lift items up to 40 lbs as needed.
Compensation, Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: $17.00 per hour ($11.35 after tip credit), plus tips
