Boka Restaurant Group and Executive  Chefs Chris Pandel & Lee  Wolen are  currently seeking Server Assistants/Food Runners  to join the team of  Zarella Pizzeria & Taverna , located in the lively River North neighborhood!

About Zarella Pizzeria & Taverna:   Zarella's features a mix of tavern-style and  artisan pizzas, an array of entrées and small bites, as well as fresh salads,  alongside an ever-rotating menu of Italian specialties, promising a dining  experience that is both nostalgic and unique. Food Runner/Server Assistant  Responsibilities:  

• Delivers food as expedited by the Chef.
• Informing the guest about the dish and its ingredients.
• Assists guest s in retrieving anything they might need once the food is delivered.
• Collaborating with servers to deliver a memorable service to all guests
• Assisting with greeting guests & water service
• Clearing & resetting tables 
• Transport soiled dishes to the dishwashing area
• All responsibilities that have been allocated by the manager.

 Qualifications: 

• Must have weekend availability (Friday, Saturday & Sundays)  
• This is an ideal position for someone who  is dedicated to providing  great service and is  seeking  to become a member of a hard-working and fun team
• 1 year of restaurant experience preferred 
• Genuinely hospitable and caring of each and every guest’s experience, 

 
Physical Requirements: 

• Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds 
• Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
• Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces 
• Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments
