Position Summary
The Server assistant plays a key role in keeping the dining room running smoothly — supporting servers and hosts to ensure every guest has a clean, welcoming table and a seamless dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly between courses and after guests depart
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room, service stations, and common areas throughout the shift
- Assist servers with food running, water service, and bread service as needed
- Communicate with hosts and servers to help manage table turns during busy periods
- Restock service stations with linens, silverware, glassware, and other supplies
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Support other FOH team members as needed to ensure smooth service
Qualifications
- Prior busser or FOH restaurant experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills and a positive, guest-first attitude
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods during service
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
