This position will be located at Roy, UT to support the Sentinel (GBSD) Program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division.Roles and ResponsibilitiesSetup, monitoring, and controlling program costs and schedulesPerforming analyses and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parametersPreparing budgets and schedules for contract workIncorporating contracts changes into control systemsEstimate and completion and forecast related activitiesPerforming miscellaneous financial analysis as requiredBasic Qualifications This position may be filled at a Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst level or at a Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst levelRequires a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting, Aerospace and Defense, or related professional experience; a Master's degree with 1 year; or 6 years with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) may be accepted in lieu of degree (Principal level requires 5 years with a bachelor's; 3 years with a Master's; or 9 years with a HS diploma may be accepted in lieu of degree)Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearanceRequires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel (Principal level should also include Pivot tables, Vlook Up, VBA and/or Macros)Requires experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool, Business Intelligence and Analytics tool, Project Management and Planning tool and/or Collaboration and Integration tools.Principal level also requires 1 year experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Principals and applying Earned Value Techniques; using EVMS Software (i.e., SAP, SAP BW, Deltek Cobra, Open Plan, MPM, Acumen One IWO, Primavera P6) (EVM Certification will be accepted in lieu of one year experience)Preferred QualificationsActive DoD Secret level security clearanceExperience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program SchedulingAerospace/Defense Industry experienceExperience with material cost managementEarned Value Management System (EVMS) experienceExperience working in Deltek CobraStrong analytical abilityAbility to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlinesAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentExcellent problem solving and organizational skillsPosition BenefitsAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:Medical, Dental & Vision coverage401kEducational AssistanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life SolutionsPaid Time OffHealth & Wellness ResourcesEmployee DiscountsThis position's standard work schedule is 9/80.
