Description
A detail-oriented Sensory Scientist is needed to support sensory and consumer research within an on-site sensory center. This role involves leading research studies, managing daily panel operations, and ensuring that products meet high standards for both customers and consumers.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day sensory panel operations and scheduling, ensuring food safety and compliance
- Design and execute sensory and consumer panel studies
- Oversee descriptive analysis programs, including recruiting and training panelists
- Analyze sensory data and clearly communicate results to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements (OSHA, FDA, USDA, etc.)
- Train and guide part-time team members on SOPs and sensory testing protocols
