Reviewing and evaluating applications for workers compensation insurance, the full-time Senior Workers Compensation Underwriter will determine coverage acceptance and pricing while ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Adhere to underwriting guidelines and execute strategies to maintain profitability goals Approve or decline insurance applications and prepare referral submissions for risks exceeding authority Analyze risk characteristics on applications, renewals, and change requests, ensuring compliance with regulations Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of related experience Minimum 5 years of Workers Compensation underwriting or related insurance experience Experience underwriting risk in construction, hospitality, real estate, and manufacturing sectors CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software quickly
