Senior Workers' Compensation Adjuster

Managing complex, high-exposure, and litigated Workers' Compensation lost-time claims, the full-time Senior Workers' Compensation Adjuster will work remotely, applying advanced knowledge to develop claim strategies and mentor junior adjusters while maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Independently investigate, evaluate, and manage complex Workers' Compensation lost-time claims through resolution Develop and document strategic action plans addressing compensability, medical treatment, and litigation Negotiate settlements and manage litigation in partnership with defense counsel Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree preferred Minimum five years of Workers' Compensation lost time claims-handling experience, including complex claims Required adjuster licenses and continuing education for assigned jurisdictions must be maintained Proficiency in compensability investigation, medical management, and regulatory compliance Experience with claim-management systems; Spear experience preferred
