Senior WMS Functional Expert

Salary: $110,000 - 125,000 per year

• We want someone with 3+ years of hands-on WMS experience; deep exposure to Synapse (Made4net/Zethcon) or another 3PL-oriented WMS is strongly preferred, and comparable tier-1 WMS experience will also be considered.
• We are looking for a candidate who has configured, supported, or helped implement a WMS and is eager to take full ownership of one.
• We value experience with EDI/API customer data interfaces, or at minimum strong exposure to them.
• We need an analytical thinker who naturally reviews data before drawing conclusions.
• We are seeking a clear communicator who can train frontline warehouse staff and brief leadership effectively.
• We expect someone who is precise, detail-focused, and comfortable troubleshooting independently.
• We want someone genuinely enthusiastic about supply chain technology and its future.
• A bachelors degree in supply chain, logistics, IT, or a related field is preferred, though strong WMS experience matters more.
• Multi-site or 3PL experience is a plus, and WMS or supply chain certifications are also an advantage.

• We want you to become the primary expert for Synapse WMS, owning configuration, introducing new functionality, and maximizing value across both platforms.
• We expect you to identify improvement opportunities, assess KPIs, and lead enhancements that improve efficiency and accuracy.
• We will rely on you to manage WMS projects from start to finish, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and rollout.
• You will support and expand customer data exchange integrations, including EDI and API connections between our WMS and our customers.
• You will create training materials, coach users, and provide hands-on support when operational issues arise.
• We want you to define and document best-practice WMS processes while working across functions to keep the system aligned with the business.
• You will analyze WMS data to generate insights that influence inventory accuracy, throughput, labor, and billing.
