Our Financial Services client is seeking a Senior Wealth Advisor to join their rapidly growing Fintech, RIA. To be considered for our client, you must have 9+ years experience as a Financial Advisor and at least $25M in portable, fee-based AUM.
Senior Wealth Advisor Opportunity
The Role: You will own client relationships and help accelerate growth . You will play a lead role in expanding the client base, delivering high-impact planning and investment advice, and partnering cross-functionally to improve how the platform supports advisors and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new client acquisition and contribute directly to business development efforts.
- Collect and synthesize client information to clarify goals, priorities, constraints, and preferences.
- Deliver comprehensive, advice led planning across investment strategy, tax aware planning, retirement, estate considerations, equity compensation, charitable strategies, and risk/insurance planning.
- Diagnose planning gaps and risks, translate complex concepts into clear recommendations, and produce actionable financial plans.
- Build, implement, and continuously monitor long-term investment strategy, including asset allocation and portfolio oversight.
- Coordinate with third party specialists across tax, trust and estate, and insurance, ensuring clients leverage the right expertise at the right time.
- Provide feedback to internal product and technology stakeholders to improve workflows and eliminate friction points in client service delivery.
- Support inorganic growth initiatives by assisting with advisor outreach, evaluation, and integration conversations as needed.
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications:
- 9 + years of investment advisory experience.
- A portable book of business ($25M in AUM) that you actively advise today.
- Appropriate registration to serve as an Investment Adviser Representative (Series 65, Series 7 and 66, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated interest in ownership, accountability, and building long-term enterprise value.
- Strong orientation toward a technology forward advisory model and the ability to operate effectively in a fintech environment.
- Ability to perform in a high-velocity, deadline-driven setting while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a technology company or technology enabled advisory platform.
- BS or MS in an analytical or technical discipline.
- Experience advising high-net-worth households, including clients with $1M+ in investable assets.
- Deep expertise in at least one key planning domain (e.g., tax strategy, equity compensation, estate planning, retirement distribution planning).
- Familiarity with modern financial planning software and planning led client workflows.
- Strong executive presence, critical thinking, and communication skills, with a proactive approach and clear ownership mentality.
