- Developaccurate,competitive,andprofitableestimatesthatalignwithcompanyobjectives
- Identifyprojectrisks,opportunities,andvalueengineeringsolutionsduringthepreconstructionphase
- Buildandmaintainrelationshipswithgeneralcontractors,owners,architects,consultants,subcontractors,andsuppliers
- Solicit,evaluate,andnegotiatesubcontractorandvendorpricing
- Participateinprojecthandoffmeetingsandsupportoperationalteamsduringprojectstartup
- Trackmarketconditions,labortrends,andmaterialpricingtoensureestimatingaccuracy
- Mentorandsupportjuniorestimatorswhilehelpingestablishbestpracticesacrosstheestimatingdepartment
- Collaboratewithexecutiveleadershiptodevelopbidstrategiesandpursuekeybusinessopportunities
Qualifications
- 7+yearsofwaterproofingestimatingexperience inthecommercialconstructionindustry
- Provensuccessestimatinglarge-scalewaterproofing,below-gradewaterproofing,trafficcoating,deckcoating,airbarrier,sealant,andbuildingenvelopeprojects
- Strongunderstandingofconstructiondrawings,specifications,contracts,andprojectdeliverymethods
- Advancedknowledgeofestimatingsoftware,takeoffplatforms,andMicrosoftOfficeSuite
- Demonstratedabilitytomanagemultiplebidsanddeadlinessimultaneously
- Exceptionalnegotiation,communication,andorganizationalskills
- Strongfinancialacumenandunderstandingofjobcostingprinciples
- Abilitytoworkindependentlywhilecontributingtoacollaborativeteamenvironment
- Bachelor'sdegreeinConstructionManagement,Engineering,orrelatedfieldpreferred,butequivalentindustryexperiencewillbeconsidered
