Operating and modernizing a large infrastructure, the full-time Senior Voice Operations Engineer will maintain approximately 8,000 Linux systems and support telecommunications services, working remotely in the United States. Key responsibilities Operate, secure, patch, and maintain Linux systems and associated LAMP and voice services Manage phone provisioning, configuration generation, and remote deployments across various phone models Automate fleet management and improve monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting processes Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience Senior-level Linux administration experience across a large distributed production fleet Deep production experience with Asterisk, FreePBX, SIP, and IP telephony Strong knowledge of networking protocols and telecommunications systems Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python, along with experience in Git and configuration management tools
