The Role
At Genmab, we are seeking a Senior Vice President, Global Supply to define and lead the transformation of our global supply functions, with end‑to‑end accountability across clinical and commercial supply. The position reports to the Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Operations Officer.
Strategic Leadership & Transformation
- Define and execute the global supply strategy, aligned with Genmab’s commercial expansion and pipeline progression.
- Build and evolve an integrated Global Supply operating model, balancing global standardization with regional agility.
- Lead the transformation toward end‑to‑end supply accountability, spanning clinical and commercial supply.
- Shape Genmab’s long‑term supply network strategy, including make‑vs‑buy decisions, partner models, and footprint optimization.
Organizational Leadership
- Lead and develop a global organization, including:
- Global/Corporate Supply Chain backbone (planning, systems, lifecycle management, logistics)
- Clinical Drug Supply (newly integrated)
- Regional commercial supply leadership (US, Europe, International markets)
- Build a high‑performing leadership team, including newly established regional supply chain heads.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
End‑to‑End Supply Accountability
- Oversee planning, S&OP, demand forecasting, and supply balancing across the portfolio.
- Ensure robust distribution, logistics, and warehousing strategies across global markets.
- Drive product lifecycle management, including launch readiness and transitions from clinical to commercial supply.
- Strengthen risk management, resilience, and business continuity across the supply network.
Global & Regional Integration
- Define and optimize the interface between global and regional supply functions.
- Enable strong regional execution through empowered US and European supply leadership.
- Ensure alignment across anchor, cluster, distributor, and partner markets.
- Build strong collaboration with Commercial, CMC, Quality, Engineering, and external partners.
Operational Excellence & Digital Enablement
- Drive data‑driven decision‑making through advanced planning systems and supply chain analytics.
- Lead initiatives to standardize processes, reduce complexity, and improve transparency.
- Strengthen systems and center‑of‑excellence capabilities to support scalability.
- Champion continuous improvement and lean supply principles.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in global supply and/or technical operations within biotech or pharma.
- Proven track record of leading end‑to‑end supply organizations in a global, matrixed environment.
- Experience supporting commercial‑stage products and global launches.
- Strong understanding of clinical‑to‑commercial supply transitions.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale high‑performing global teams, including engineering and project organizations.
- Deep expertise in S&OP, global logistics, external manufacturing, and supply chain strategy.
- Experience working with CMOs, external partners, and complex global distribution networks.

Compensation (US candidates)
$340.000,00 – $510.000,00 (USD). The actual offer will consider experience, qualifications, and location. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses and long‑term incentives.

Locations
Genmab operates a global presence with offices across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. The senior position is based in the United States, with potential for travel to other regions.
