Job Description

• Lead strategy, planning and execution for Fund Administration, and own its financial performance against annual revenue and profitability targets.
• Oversee and manage the review of quarterly and annual financial statements and investor reporting for fund administration clients and managed funds, with a focus on private credit and direct lending: set review standards and assign and supervise reviewers.
• Understand each fund's structure, operating agreement and underwriting model well enough to anticipate activity and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Advise clients on the accounting and reporting implications of new funds, fund amendments and new lending initiatives, getting involved early in fund formation.
• Manage relationships with outside audit and tax firms so annual audits and tax filings are accurate and on time.
• Ensure timely, accurate processing of distributions, fees and intercompany balances, working with corporate Finance on fee agreements and collections.
• Oversee treasury operations for client and managed funds, including cash management, disbursements, distributions and bank account administration.
• Oversee loan servicing for the funds we administer, including billing, payment processing, loan reporting and borrower communication.
• Ensure cash movement, payment and distribution procedures are defined, controlled and followed, with appropriate review and approval.
• Keep treasury, loan servicing and fund accounting closely coordinated so cash, loan balances and reporting reconcile.
• Own the Fund Administration control environment over financial reporting, treasury, loan servicing and client deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Ten or more years of fund administration, fund accounting or audit experience, including significant hands-on work with private credit or direct lending funds.
• CPA a plus
