Job Description
Senior Vice President, Full‑Stack Engineer – Jersey City, NJ. Provide senior‑level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staff, evaluate compliance with technology standards, design and develop robust micro‑services, real‑time data streaming solutions, and micro‑frontend applications. Program efficient, testable code, develop test automation suites, create flowcharts, layouts, and documentation, maintain software functionality, conduct code reviews, and integrate components into a fully functional system. Apply security and privacy principles. Work with internal business groups to implement opportunities, address challenges, and recommend solutions. Guide use of emerging technologies and contribute to corporate implementation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent, with ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience designing and developing robust micro‑services using Java/Java EE, Spring Boot, Maven, REST APIs, MongoDB, and Oracle; creating real‑time data streaming solutions with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, WebSocket, and Apache Kafka; handling event‑driven communication; building micro‑frontend components in Node.js, React, and Angular; integrating applications across web and mobile platforms.
- Proficiency in Agile methodology, CI/CD, application resiliency and security, and development toolsets including GIT/Bitbucket, Splunk, Junit, SonarQube, JIRA, Maven, and Veracode.
- Experience developing high‑throughput, fault‑tolerant stream processing solutions using Apache Kafka.
Benefits and Compensation
The base salary for this position ranges from $189,592.00 to $246,000.00 per year. Compensation will be individualized based on experience and market location. The total compensation package may include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short- and long-term incentive packages, and Company‑sponsored benefit programs.
