Job Description

WeareseekingaSeniorUXDesigner toleadthedesignofdigitalproductsfocusedonimprovingtheuserexperienceforweb-basedapplicationsandplatforms.Thisroleplaysakeypartinensuringsolutionsareuser-centric,accessible,andalignedwithindustrybestpractices.Theidealcandidatewilldemonstrateexpertiseindesignstrategy,usabilityresearch,andcross-functionalcollaborationtohelpbuilddigitaltoolsthatdrivemeaningfuloutcomesforusersacrossdiversestakeholdergroups.

KeyResponsibilities

• LeadUX/UIeffortsacrossdigitalplatforms,ensuringconsistencywithenterprise-widedesignstandardsandbestpractices.
• Translateuserresearchintoactionabledeliverablesincludinguserflows,wireframes,prototypes,andjourneymaps.
• Conductusabilitytestinganduseroutreachtovalidatedesigneffectivenessandinformiterations.
• Collaboratewithcross-functionalteams,includingdevelopers,productmanagers,andbusinessstakeholders,toaligndesignsolutionswithtechnicalfeasibilityandbusinessgoals.
• Providestrategicguidanceanddesignrationaletoleadershipandproductteams.
• Ensuresolutionsmeetaccessibility,usability,andvisualdesignstandards.

Qualifications

MinimumQualifications

• 8years ofexperiencedesigningwireframesormockupsalignedwithUXbestpractices.
• 4years ofexperienceleadinglarge-scaleUX/UIinitiatives.
• 4years usingdesigntoolssuchasFigma (orcomparable).
• 3years workingonaccessibility-compliantdesign,adheringtofederalaccessibilitystandards(e.g.,Section508/WCAG).

PreferredQualifications

• ExperienceusingAtlassianJira forworkfloworissuetracking.
• Experiencesupportingorworkingwithinapublicsector,education-focused,ormission-drivenorganization.
