Remote Full Time Science

Genesys is hiring a Senior UX Design Technologist who combines design expertise with technical fluency and AI capabilities to create thoughtful, intuitive, and high-quality workflows and experiences. The role is hands-on and bridges design and technology, translating ideas into polished, functional experiences and empowering others through shared skills, scalable workflows, AI-powered tools, and repeatable design practices. The role reports to the Senior Director of UX Enablement and partners across the broader UX organization with designers, researchers, Design Systems, Product, and Engineering. Location: Remote within US.

What you'll do

  • Use code, AI, and established design patterns to complete straightforward UX Ops backlog work where the problem and expected outcome are clear.
  • Identify designers already using AI effectively, capture their skills and techniques, and turn them into documented, shared assets for the UX organization.
  • Use APIs, MCPs, skills, agents, and integrations to connect tools and information, remove unnecessary manual steps, and simplify common UX workflows.
  • Translate technical capabilities into simple, useful guidance for designers and researchers and partner with Engineering/PM when deeper technical expertise is needed.
  • Recognize the limits of automation and AI and determine when a problem is suited for technical acceleration versus deeper research, exploration, or design judgment.

What they're looking for

  • 4+ years in design technology, design systems, developer experience, UX or design engineering, or technical UX operations, with close work alongside both designers and engineers.
  • Comfortable with how software teams work (for example version control, code review, and APIs) and able to talk credibly with engineers.
  • Hands-on AI experience: regularly use AI tools and be fluent in the creation and use of skills and agents.
  • Ability to explain technical ideas clearly to non-technical people and to help others adopt new ways of working.
  • Ability to work without a detailed roadmap, spot opportunities, and follow them through.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Figma, Git-based version control (GitHub, Bitbucket, or equivalent), modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar, and front-end technologies such as React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Comfortable working with APIs, MCPs, and integrations to connect tools and automate workflows.
