Senior Unix System EngineerWe are seeking a Senior Unix System Engineer to join our team supporting an ITES task order.Required QualificationsExperienceFive (5) years as a Unix Systems Administrator or IT Engineer, including task automation.Three (3) years of experience in patch management (YUM, RPM) and applying security updates.Three (3) years working in complex networking environments, using VLANs and tools like ifconfig, netstat, ssh, and telnet.Three (3) years of system hardening using firewalld/iptables and host configurations.Three (3) years managing local user accounts via CLI.Three (3) years creating, maintaining, and executing SOPs for repeatable processes and recovery operations.Three (3) years configuring and maintaining services: DNS, SFTP, SMTP, and NTP.Strong team collaboration and communication skills.Three (3) years working with SELinux (basic and advanced configuration).Experience with Cybersecurity patching, STIGs/SRGs, RMF, SCA-V, and CORA.Experience with large-scale hardware/software deployments across geographically dispersed sites.Familiarity with emerging network and infrastructure management tools and best practicesDemonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations.
