Boeing Intelligence & Analytics supports hybrid work (minimum 2 to 3 days onsite) for a Senior UI/UX Designer role across Annapolis Junction, MD , Washington, DC , or Reston, VA . You will deliver workflow-driven design for an ecosystem of big data applications, translating complex requirements into end-to-end user experiences while keeping design consistency from documented workflows through final approved UI.
What You’ll Do
- Produce critical workflow-driven designs for an ecosystem of big data apps in a collaborative environment.
- Understand and document how the application works, then carry that understanding through to final approved designs to reduce gaps that can force developers to make independent UX decisions during implementation.
- Translate complex business requirements into cohesive, end-to-end user experiences, partnering with product owners, stakeholders, and developers.
- Document user workflows and convert them into wireframes and final UI designs.
- Design interconnected experiences that include both administrative functionality and end-user workflows .
- Move from low-fidelity concepts through high-fidelity, stakeholder-approved designs.
- Create designs for complex, workflow-driven enterprise applications .
What You Bring
- 18 years of UI/UX Design or UI/UX Development experience in a highly related field with similar scope and responsibilities.
- A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience; a Master’s degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience.
- TS/SCI with active CI Polygraph .
- Experience documenting user workflows and translating them into wireframes and final UI designs.
- Ability to design complete, interconnected experiences, including administrative and end-user workflows.
- Comfort moving from low-fidelity concepts to high-fidelity, stakeholder-approved designs.
- Experience designing complex, workflow-driven enterprise applications.
- Proficiency with Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop on NIPR .
- Styling experience implementing SCSS/SASS and micro-animations for user feedback.
- Back-end awareness with Java Web, NodeJS, or AWS environments.
- Experience managing code via GitLab and working in an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Experience using Web Sockets for real-time data updates.

Compensation and Location
Salary range: USD 184,000 - 237,600 per year. Work model: Hybrid (authorized; minimum 2 to 3 days onsite). Locations: Annapolis Junction, MD; Washington, DC; or Reston, VA.
