Senior Trial Attorney - Personal Injury Litigation
Salary:
Up to $300,000 annually based on experience, plus performance-based bonuses, health benefits, PTO, and CLE support.

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to take ownership of a high-value motor vehicle accident litigation docket, with a primary focus on commercial cases ranging from $250,000 to over $1,000,000 .
This attorney will manage complex litigation from inception through trial when necessary, develop case strategy, maximize case value, and collaborate with litigation teams while mentoring supporting attorneys and staff.
Job Responsibilities
• Serve as first-chair or co-chair trial attorney in jury trials
• Independently manage 50-75 active litigation cases and oversee 25-50 pre-litigation cases
• Develop and execute trial strategies, case themes, and legal theories
• Handle complex personal injury litigation from filing through verdict
• Draft, file, and argue advanced motions
• Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses
• Prepare cases for mediation, settlement conferences, and trial
• Lead settlement negotiations and assess settlement versus trial value
• Identify and develop high-value cases for litigation
• Oversee expert inspections, discovery, and evidence collection
• Collaborate with intake teams and associate attorneys on case evaluation
• Mentor associate attorneys and litigation support staff
• Maintain strong client communication and prepare clients for litigation proceedings
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (J.D. ) degree
• Active Texas State Bar license
• 5-10+ years of personal injury litigation experience
• Required experience handling motor vehicle accident cases
• Proven jury trial experience
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
