A respected California law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Of Counsel to join its collaborative Trial & Litigation practice.

This is an opportunity for a strong litigator who enjoys complex, high-stakes matters, strategic case development, and courtroom advocacy , with a particular focus on eminent domain and related constitutional issues .

The Role

• Handle sophisticated state and federal litigation matters
• Develop litigation strategy and build cases through trial
• Lead law and motion practice, including dispositive motions
• Take and defend depositions and develop factual records
• Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings
• Present complex legal and constitutional arguments clearly and persuasively

The Ideal Background

• 7+ years of litigation experience
• Strong state and federal court experience, including dispositive motions
• Proven experience developing cases for trial, depositions, and witness preparation
• Excellent research, writing, analytical, and strategic skills
• Trial experience strongly preferred
• Public entity, eminent domain, or land use experience is a plus
