Senior Trial Attorney

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle
• Develop and execute case strategy for high-exposure medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases
• Take and defend depositions, including physician and expert witness depositions
• Draft and argue motions, attend hearings, and manage discovery
• Prepare cases for mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial
• Serve as lead trial counsel in significant plaintiff-side litigation matters
• Work closely with clients, experts, and legal support staff
• Mentor junior attorneys and legal professionals as needed

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Texas Bar license in good standing
• Minimum 10 years of litigation experience
• Significant medical malpractice experience required
• Proven trial experience in high-value plaintiff litigation matters
• Extensive experience taking and defending physician expert depositions
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Outstanding communication and client relationship abilities
