Senior Trial Attorney
We are a highly regarded super-regional insurance company seeking an experienced Senior Trial Attorney to join our legal team in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
Base salary $133K - $184K plus a comprehensive benefits package. Hybrid work: two days in the office; three days remote.
Primary Duties
- Represent clients in court, including trials and appeals.
- Develop and implement defense strategies based on thorough legal research and analysis.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs.
- Provide legal advice and updates to claims professionals and clients.
- Participate in training and development of claims staff.
- Maintain professional communication with courts, clients, and opposing counsel.
- Stay current with legal trends and complete continuing legal education.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active Pennsylvania Bar membership in good standing; multi-state admission preferred.
- 15+ years of litigation experience preferred, including trial experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license required for travel (approximately 20% of the time).
