JCW Group is partnering with a leading utility to hire Transmission Operations Engineers supporting Transmission Operations and Balancing Authority functions. You'll perform engineering studies, power flow and contingency analysis, and implement security-constrained economic dispatch and flowgate methodology to ensure reliable transmission operations.
What You'll Do
* Perform power flow and contingency analyses to support transmission operations
* Implement security-constrained economic dispatch and flowgate methodology
* Execute engineering design, modifications, and technical analysis
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers (Senior level)
* Support on-call responsibilities as required
What We're Looking For
* B.S. in Engineering or related discipline (ABET-accredited)
* Engineer II: 2+ years' experience | Engineer III: 5+ years | Senior: 8+ years
* Experience with transmission operations, reliability studies, and NERC standards
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
