Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day administration of the organization's self-funded medical, dental, vision, and wellness programs.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for third-party administrators (TPA), pharmacy benefit managers (PBM), and other benefits vendors.
- Monitor healthcare claims utilization and recommend cost-containment strategies.
- Oversee stop-loss coverage, reimbursements, renewals, and vendor performance.
- Develop and implement wellness and population health initiatives.
- Administer the organization's compensation philosophy and salary structures.
- Conduct compensation analyses and recommend salary adjustments and incentive programs.
- Configure benefit plans and optimize HRIS functionality to eliminate manual processes.
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other applicable regulations.
- Partner with Finance to review monthly premium equivalents and budgeting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive experience leading compensation and benefits programs.
- Five (5) or more years of direct experience managing self-funded medical plans.
- Demonstrated experience developing compensation strategies, salary structures, market pricing, and pay equity initiatives.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, reporting, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience administering HRIS/payroll systems, preferably Paycom.
- Excellent analytical, communication, project management, and organizational skills.
