SAAB is seeking a Senior Tooling Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and lifecycle support of complex tooling for advanced defense and aerospace systems within our Engineering & Design organization. In this role, you will translate product and manufacturing requirements into robust, safe, and maintainable tooling solutions for machining, composite fabrication, assembly, and test. You will collaborate closely with design engineering, operations, quality, and suppliers in a highly regulated, safety‑critical environment.
Responsibilities include developing 3D models and drawings, performing tolerance and structural analyses, driving root‑cause investigations, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to increase reliability, throughput, and ergonomics.
