The position will be interfacing with internal customers to ensure testing requirements and workload is supported as needed.

The candidate will possess in depth knowledge of data acquisition systems, sensors and related applications.ResponsibilitiesConfigure and develop DAQ systems, instrumentation, and data storage processes to support internal customer requestsSupport establishing investment requests and development of roadmap related to data acquisition systemsImplementation and commissioning of new equipment in collaboration with equipment vendorsResponsible for planning, organizing, and implementation of projectsCollaborate with global counterparts to implement and adapt test procedures according to local requirementsEducate engineers and technicians to efficiently operate data acquisitions systems according to industry best practicesUpdating test method documentation and instructions according to internal proceduresDevelop and improve test procedures related to DAQ systems including report automationQualificationsMinimum BSc degree required; MSc degree in Electrical or Mechanical is preferredSolid understanding of vehicle bus systems and their protocols (CAN, Ethernet, LIN)3-5 years working experience with Analog Inputs such as voltage measurement, pressure, frequency, acceleration and temperature is requiredIn depth knowledge and experience with metrology fundamentals is requiredScripting knowledge in Matlab, Python, C#, C++ or similar is desirablePrevious experience with Dewesoft or Ipetronik is an advantage (Ipetronik preferred)Working experience with CANoe, CANalyzer and/or Kvaser Memorator is desirableMicrosoft Office and general computer skills is requiredExcellent communication and organizational skills are requiredGreat work ethic and attention to details is requiredAbility to efficiently work in teams is necessarySalary Range: $70,000 - $75,000The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.ALTEN Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
