Senior Test And Evaluation SpecialistOdyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test and Evaluation Specialist supporting fourth generation aircraft for an Air Force acquisition mission at Eglin AFB, FL. The candidate will provide test and evaluation technical and engineering support across test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, including data reduction and analysis and end-user operational testing.This is a full-time on-site position at Eglin Air Force Base, FL.ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to:Provide T&E technical and engineering support by documenting the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operationalUtilize and apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct testPrepare (or advise others in the preparation of) criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise.Select and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope andReview and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of test engineering tasks.Develop new and innovative approaches to problems encountered, and accomplish assigned tasks with efficiency, timeliness, and thoroughness.Evaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for the thorough testing of software releases (e.g. fault insertion/fault identification).De-conflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead.QualificationsCitizenship: Must be a US citizenMinimum Required QualificationsClearance: Top SecretEducation and experience: Associates + 15 years in Related Discipline OR Bachelor's in Related Discipline + 10 years Relevant ExperiencePreferred QualificationsClearance: Top SecretEducation and experience: Associates + 20 years in relevant experience OR Bachelor's in engineering (ABET-accredited) + 15 years relevant experienceTechnical SkillsTest concept development and test methodology developmentTest plan development, test execution, and test reportingData reduction and analysisEnd-user operational testing supportDesign of Experiments application for test planning and executionEngineering techniques and procedures for complex problem/data analysisTest environment configuration and operational relevance evaluationSoftware release test support (fault insertion/fault identification)Schedule de-confliction support across multiple releasesInterpersonal SkillsAbility to develop innovative approaches to complex test problemsStrong attention to quality, adequacy, and completeness of test results and conclusionsAbility to deliver thorough, timely, and efficient task executionAbility to provide clear analysis and recommendations to program test leadershipLocation: Eglin AFB, FLTravel: Travel may be required per the customer's discretion.Work Environment: Onsite9/80 work schedule option may be availableCompany OverviewOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
