Senior Technology Business Systems ConsultantWells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant who will contribute to achieving objectives through strong partnerships and collaboration with both businesses and technology team members.
The role will aid and support in the execution of all activities for achieving objectives that remediate risks and improve technology related crisis response capabilities. This is achieved through various methods of delivery such as data quality, monitoring, dashboarding, self-identified issues, strategic solutions or integration within existing projects, program, or product deliverables.In this role, you will:Manage Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for business and technology plansDevelop a comprehensive risk assessment of the plan. Review and document each control item, investigate all gaps, and develop action plans or mitigations for risks. Pull reports, clear flagged items, follow up on gaps, etc., to support the assessment. Confirm Technology Recovery Time Capability/Technology Recovery point Capability (TRTC/TRPC) profiles, create approval documentation, upload artifacts to support the work and document the exercise in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Source of Record (SOR).Supports interfaces with Technology Industry Leaders, Analysts and RegulatorsSenior Technology Business Systems Consultant must stay current with Technology Resiliency and Disaster Recovery (TRDR) certifications and have a thorough understanding of the Enterprise Guidebook and all the associated updates.Communicate and work with Line of Business (LOB) to resolve recovery gaps and conflicts for applications dependent on plans supported by the Business Resiliency Coordinator (BRC).Meet with the Functional Managers or their designate to ensure the production environment is accurately catalogued and characterized as described in the Required Fields report. Ensure the individual Technology Recovery Time Capability/Technology Recovery point Capability (TRTC/TRPC) values for the servers are accurate; that updates/ changes are in line with tech refreshes or changes in provisioning, the ratio of servers to data centers agrees with the Technology Equipment Recovery Solution (TERS) and Data Recovery Solution (DRS); that upstream/downstream relationships to other LOBs and applications are accurate; that employees are correctly assigned roles and attributes on the recovery teams; that service provider contact information is accurate and that approvals for all Exercise and Maintenance (E&M) items are current.Provide material for and ensure planning of a scheduled meeting of all plan Recovery Team members to ensure the team is familiar with the plan, understands how to use recovery strategies and agrees with the steps necessary to recover the application.
