Senior Technician AssistantWalker GMC is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technician Assistant to join our team in Alexandria, Louisiana. This is a full-time hourly position that will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients while ensuring that our vehicles are repaired to a high standard. The successful candidate will need to have great technical skills, good communication skills, and a strong understanding of the auto industry.Compensation and Benefits: The successful candidate will be eligible for competitive salary, vehicle service discounts, and comprehensive health insurance.Responsibilities:Execute inspection and/or diagnosis of customer vehiclesAssist Senior Level Technicians with repairs, maintenance, diagnosingPerform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including engine and transmissionRead and interpret written instructions and service manualsMaintain professional relationships with customers and team membersAccurately document all services that are performedStay current with the latest advances in vehicle technologyRequirements:ASE certification is preferredMechanical experience knowledge and experience requiredKnowledge of common auto repair processes and proceduresAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and climb laddersStrong written and verbal communication skillsPay will be based on experience, this is an hourly position.
