We're designing, building, and testing next generation long range strike weapons systems to give America and its Allies a definitive edge and deter future conflicts.Castelion is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Sourcer (Contract) to help us identify, engage, and pipeline top talent for our rapidly growing hardware and technology teams. This is a contract role supporting high-impact hiring initiatives across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions. While onsite at our Torrance, CA headquarters is preferred, we are open to hybrid or remote arrangements for the right candidate.You will work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR leadership to source and attract candidates in highly competitive markets. Success in this role requires experience in hardware companies or high-growth startup environments, as well as creativity, persistence, and the ability to quickly understand specialized technical skill sets.This role is flexible with a preference for onsite support at our Torrance, CA headquarters, though hybrid arrangements are possible. This is a 6-month contract with the potential to extend based on performance.

High-performing contractors may also be considered for full-time opportunities.ResponsibilitiesConduct targeted sourcing to identify qualified candidates for hard-to-fill engineering, hardware, and corporate rolesUtilize LinkedIn, GitHub, personal networks, industry forums, and other platforms to engage passive talentPartner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and key candidate attributesMaintain organized candidate pipelines and provide regular updates to the recruiting teamSupport outreach campaigns and initial candidate engagement, including phone/email touchpointsContribute to employer branding initiatives by highlighting Castelion's mission, culture, and growth opportunitiesTrack sourcing metrics and provide insights to improve strategies and outcomesBasic Qualifications3+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience, preferably in hardware companies, defense, or high-growth startup environmentsStrong experience leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing toolsExcellent research, organizational, and communication skillsProven ability to identify and engage passive candidatesComfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentPreferred Skills and ExperienceFamiliarity with technical roles such as mechanical, electrical, or software engineeringExperience supporting recruiting for scaling hardware teams in early-stage startupsStrong understanding of the candidate market, competitive landscape, and sourcing best practicesAbility to craft compelling messaging for passive candidatesKey OutcomesBuild strong pipelines of qualified candidates for immediate and future hiring needsReduce time-to-fill for critical engineering and technical positionsMaintain consistent and high-quality engagement with prospective candidatesEnable recruiters and hiring managers to focus on interview, evaluation, and offer processesLeadership QualitiesBias to Action and Creative Problem Solving. Desire and experience questioning assumptions in ways that lead to break through ideas that are ultimately implemented. Successfully bring in applicable processes/concepts/materials from other industries to achieve efficiency gains.
