Our client, a leading organization in the technology space, is seeking a Senior IT Technical Lead to join their team. As a Senior IT Technical Lead, you will be part of the IT organization supporting cross-functional business and technology teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Senior IT Technical Lead
Location: Mooresville, NC
Terms: 6 month C2H, NOT open to C2C
What’s the Job?
- Lead technical architecture and implementation across multiple concurrent, large-scale IT projects.
- Manage all technical aspects of cross-functional initiatives including software selection, integration, and infrastructure planning.
- Lead integration of COTS applications into legacy environments, including AS/400 systems.
- Conduct product evaluations and proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies.
- Oversee and guide onsite and offshore development teams, including project planning, estimates, and delivery timelines.
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of IT experience, including technical architecture and solution design.
- Strong background in software development with technologies such as Java, JavaScript, C++, RPG (RPG IV / RPGLE), SQL, APIs, and web services.
- Experience working within AS/400 environments and integrating legacy systems (ETL, ESB, or EDI preferred).
- Experience leading development teams and working within cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
