Senior Tax Manager

Location: Tysons - fully on-site

Assignment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation : $185-210K

Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Description:

• Prepare and review individual, fiduciary, partnership, and S corporation tax returns (Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, and 1120S).


• Build and maintain trusted relationships with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and privately owned businesses.


• Provide proactive tax planning, consulting, and advisory services to clients.


• Review the work of junior team members and provide coaching and mentorship to support their professional growth.


• Work within CCH Axcess and QuickBooks to manage tax engagements and related workflows.


• Contribute to client succession and transition planning while helping maintain long-term relationships.


• Experience serving private clients and closely held businesses in a boutique or regional CPA firm environment preferred.


• Strong background in trust and estate taxation, as well as pass-through entities, including partnerships and S corporations.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships


• CPA license required


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Minimum of 6-8+ years of tax experience in a public accounting environment


• Extensive experience preparing and reviewing individual (Form 1040) tax returns


• Demonstrated background working in public accounting


• Available to work onsite throughout the tax season
