Senior Tax ManagerAldrich CPAs and Advisors is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join our Lake Oswego office and support clients in our construction practice.This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity for an experienced tax professional who wants meaningful client ownership, partner access, and a path toward broader practice leadership. Prior construction tax experience is helpful, but not required.

Experience serving closely held businesses, S corporations, partnerships, manufacturing, real estate, or other complex tax clients may translate well.As a Senior Tax Manager at Aldrich, you will work closely with clients, partners, and team members to deliver tax compliance, planning, consulting, and relationship management services.The ideal candidate is local to the Lake Oswego/Portland metro area and able to maintain visibility with clients and team members in the Lake Oswego and Salem markets through Aldrich's hybrid work model.Requirements:8+ years of recent public accounting experience with a primary focus on taxExperience managing complex client relationships and reviewing tax workStrong client service mindset and ability to build trust with clients and partnersAbility to supervise, mentor, and develop othersStrong leadership presence and comfort serving as a key point of contact for clients and internal teamsExcellent research, writing, and communication skillsSuccessful completion of the CPA exam, licensed CPA, JD, or EAYou'll Get a Chance To:Lead and manage complex tax client relationshipsServe as a tax advisor to closely held businesses, owners, and leadership teamsCoordinate and plan service delivery to clients, including review meetingsProvide proactive tax planning, consulting, and compliance supportAnalyze client financial information, assess needs, and recommend strategiesCommunicate technical tax concepts clearly to clients and internal teamsDevelop, mentor, and teach staff, seniors, and managersManage engagement risk and financial performance, including billings, collections, and project budgetsParticipate in new client prospecting, presentations, and closing meetingsCollaborate with partners and leadership to support continued growth in the construction practiceHow We'll Reward You:At Aldrich, we know a great client experience starts with an exceptional employee experience. The compensation offered may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, and other job-related reasons. Aldrich also ensures internal equity in all pay decisions. The current estimated salary range for this position is $180,000 - $215,000.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational goals.What You Should Know:Licensed CPA, Enrolled Agent, JD, or successful completion of the CPA exam is required.This is not a remote position, but hybrid work options are available. Candidates should be local to the Lake Oswego/Portland metro area and able to maintain visibility with clients and team members in the Lake Oswego and Salem markets.
