Position Title: Senior Tax Manager

Location : Mclean, VA - fully on-site

Assignment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation : $170-190K base

Job Description:

• Prepare and review individual, trust, estate, partnership, and S corporation tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, and 1120-S.
• Prepare and review Schedule K-1s, ensuring accurate reporting of pass-through income, deductions, and credits.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies, individualized tax solutions, and wealth preservation opportunities.
• Support clients with 1031 like-kind exchanges, including tax implications, reporting requirements, and compliance.
• Manage relationships with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses, providing personalized tax and wealth management guidance.
• Review tax work, mentor junior staff, and ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Assist with long-term client relationship management, wealth transfer strategies, and succession planning. xhqgsiq
• Utilize CCH Axcess and QuickBooks to streamline tax preparation, reporting, and accounting workflows.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA required
• Background of 7-9 years' management experience within tax
• 6+ years' public accounting experience preferred
