We’re partnering with a stellar $25B+ alternative investment firm that is looking to add a Senior Tax Manager to its growing team in Greenwich, CT.

This is a great opportunity for a tax professional who wants broad exposure across alternative investments and a role that sits at the intersection of Tax, Fund Accounting, Investor Relations, Legal, Operations & Technology.

$150K–$200K Base + Bonus

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage and oversee tax compliance and reporting across a broad range of investment vehicles and strategies

• Support the preparation and review of partnership tax returns, tax estimates, K-1s and investor tax reporting

• Partner with Fund Accounting and external tax advisors on quarterly and year-end tax processes

• Assist with tax planning and analysis related to investments, transactions, distributions and fund structures

• Analyze tax implications of new investments, restructurings and other investment activity

• Work closely with Investor Relations on investor tax questions, reporting and requests

• Partner with Legal, Operations, Accounting and Technology teams on tax-related initiatives and projects

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and tax reporting workflows

• Stay current on federal, state and international tax developments impacting the firm's investment activities

• Support various ad hoc tax projects and strategic initiatives across the platform

What they’re looking for:

• 6+ years of tax experience within xhqgsiq asset management, financial services, or public accounting serving investment management clients

• Strong partnership tax and tax compliance experience

• Experience with investment-related tax reporting

• CPA preferred

• Strong analytical, communication and project management skills

• A proactive mindset and interest in process improvement and cross-functional collaboration
