Senior Tax Manager - Public Accounting

Location: Glendale, CA or Encino, CA | Hybrid (2 days/week in office)

A well-established, boutique public accounting firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join their growing tax practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to take on a leadership role with a clear path toward partnership.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and review complex tax engagements for corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts, and foundations
• Oversee tax planning and compliance across a diverse client base spanning multiple industries
• Supervise and mentor tax staff and senior associates
• Serve as a key client relationship manager, providing strategic tax advisory services
• Stay current on tax law changes and ensure firm-wide compliance
• Collaborate with firm leadership on practice development and client growth initiatives

Qualifications:

• CPA required
• 8+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong technical knowledge across multiple entity types and industries
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and mentor junior staff
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
