Senior Tax ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to lead tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a sophisticated client base consisting primarily of high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses. This role requires strong technical expertise in complex individual taxation, proactive tax planning capabilities, and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor while managing client relationships and mentoring staff.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and review complex individual, trust, estate, and related entity tax returns (Forms 1040, 1041, partnerships, and S corporations).Provide proactive tax planning and consulting for high-net-worth individuals and multi-generational families.Advise clients on income tax, estate and gift tax, wealth transfer, and trust planning strategies.Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of high-value clients.Research and resolve complex tax issues and communicate recommendations clearly to clients.Coordinate tax engagements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality client service.Mentor, develop, and review the work of tax staff and senior accountants.Identify opportunities to improve client tax positions and enhance firm service offerings.QualificationsCPA required.8+ years of public accounting tax experience, including significant experience with high-net-worth individuals and trusts.Proficiency in tax research tools and software (e.g., CCH Axcess)Strong technical knowledge of individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift taxation.Proven experience reviewing complex tax returns and delivering sophisticated tax planning strategies.Excellent client relationship, communication, and leadership skills.Experience in a CPA firm environment requiredCompensation & BenefitsThe total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits.
