A well-established public accounting firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join its growing tax practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take on a leadership role with broad exposure across industries and entity types, while working in a collaborative, hybrid environment.
About the Role
The Senior Tax Manager will oversee tax compliance and planning engagements across a diverse client base, managing complex returns and providing strategic guidance to clients and staff alike. This role offers significant client-facing responsibility along with the opportunity to mentor and develop junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage and review tax engagements across multiple industries
- Prepare and review tax returns for Partnerships, S Corporations, C Corporations, and Individuals
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to a diverse client portfolio
- Research complex tax issues and develop strategic recommendations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact
- Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff and senior associates
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and additional client services
- Stay current on tax law changes and assess their impact on clients
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required
- Strong technical knowledge of partnership, S corp, C corp, and individual taxation
- Experience working across multiple industries within a public accounting environment
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Demonstrated leadership and staff development experience
- Strong analytical and research capabilities
