Senior Tax Manager – Brooklyn

An entrepreneurial, rapidly growing accounting business is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to become a key part of its Brooklyn leadership team.
The business is acquiring CPA practices, investing heavily in technology and building a modern accounting platform designed around client relationships, automation and growth.
They want someone who can take real ownership — managing clients, developing staff, reviewing complex tax work and helping shape how the operation develops as the business continues to expand.
The work will include:
- Reviewing 1040, 1065, 1120-S, 1120 and 1041 returns
- Owning key small-business and business-owner relationships
- Leading and developing tax staff
- Managing workflow and deadlines
- Tax planning and advisory
- Supporting bookkeeping and financial statement work
- Improving processes and helping introduce new technology
- Working closely with senior leadership as the business grows
What they’re looking for:
- CPA or EA
- Strong public accounting experience
- Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager level
- Broad generalist tax background
- Strong review and client-management experience
- Previous staff leadership
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable with change/growth
