A leading multi-family office is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join its tax team. This is a client-facing role focused on compliance and planning for ultra-high-net-worth families, with a strong emphasis on trusts and estates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review U.S. tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and their families, with a focus on trusts and estates
• Handle a range of return types, including income, gift and estate, partnership, S corporation, and private foundation
• Prepare quarterly income tax projections across multiple scenarios to support planning recommendations
• Research tax issues affecting clients and communicate conclusions clearly
• Respond to IRS and state notices and support audits as needed
• Partner with clients and internal teams to gather information and answer questions throughout the filing process
• Stay current on tax law changes and proposals relevant to client families

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of individual taxation experience within a public accounting firm or similar environment
• Trust and estate tax experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of gift, estate, private foundation, and partnership taxation
• General familiarity with financial instruments and alternative investments is a plus
• CPA required; graduate degree a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a proactive, self-starting approach
• Comfortable working with a team across multiple offices
