Ready for a Tax Manager role? You could be running an entire CPA office by April.

And no, you won't need to spend the next few years waiting for someone above you to retire before getting your chance.

An established CPA firm in West Palm Beach is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant who's ready to take that next step. The plan is to develop you into a Tax Manager in less than 6 months, with the support and guidance of two longstanding Partners who are gradually stepping towards retirement.

The opportunity is already there, you just need to grow into it.

There's an established client base of around 900 clients, some of whom have been with the firm for over 30 years. You won't need to bring in business or build anything from scratch. Instead, you'll spend your time getting to know the clients, learning how the office operates and gradually taking on more responsibility.

And the Partners aren't expecting you to know everything on day one. They'll be there to share their knowledge and help you become confident managing the office, its clients and the team.

You'll work with a real mix of clients, from local family businesses and Partnerships to High-net-worth individuals, and International clients.

Many still prefer popping into the office for a chat rather than dealing with everything online, so if you enjoy the people side of accounting just as much as the technical work, you'll fit right in.

You'll have two experienced Partners guiding you through that transition rather than being thrown in at the deep end.

There's no set billable hour requirement during busy season. They care more about getting the work done than watching the clock.

You'll initially work from the office full time, with the potential to work from home one or two days a week after 6 months.

You'll also receive an annual discretionary bonus, health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and generous PTO.

What they're looking for

• CPA licensed
• At least 4-5+ years of Public Accounting experience
• Experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns
• Someone who enjoys working with clients and is ready to start mentoring and managing others
• A willingness to get involved in all aspects of a small CPA office
• You don't need to have managed an office before. That's the whole point.
